About me
I have been excited and honored to work with children as a pediatric OT for the past 25 years. I received my master’s in OT from Tufts University in 1998, and have worked in many different pediatric settings during my career (public school, preschool, private school for children with LD, sensory gym, and home-based). I specialize in treating children with developmental delays (ages 3 to 5) and school-based learning issues, including handwriting (grades K to 5). I use a holistic, child-centered approach, in combination with the latest evaluation materials and clinical observations, to ensure that OT is both fun and successful for your child. I have been in private practice in Park Slope since 2012. After years of working with kids 1:1, I have shifted my practice to focus on providing accurate, complete, and meaningful OT evaluations for my clients. I pride myself on producing reports written in parent-friendly language, which include comprehensive follow-up recommendations and home-based suggestions to address your child’s specific skills and areas of need. In addition, I am available to consult with your child’s classroom teachers to support them as they work with your child.
When I’m not working, I can be found traveling, biking, reading, baking, watching movies, or enjoying the beach. I live in Park Slope with my three boys…my husband, son, and a very spoiled cat named Kingston.
